National Institute Of Health
The Franklin Institute is one of the oldest science museums in the United States. The museum was created to honor Ben Franklin and to advance the usefulness of his inventions.The original Franklin Institute first opened in the building now known as Independence Hall in 1825. In 1934, it was moved to its current home at 222 North 20th Street.
Today, the museum is a sensory experience with room after room of hands on fun. Three floors of permanent and traveling exhibits offer opportunities for visitors of all ages.
